An anamorphosis for the Batimat salon, Parc des Expositions de Paris-Nord, Villepinte
For its return to the Batimat salon 2015 after a ten years absence, the Rockwool company pulled out the big guns by giving the green light for this anamorphosis measuring more than 400 m² in the Parc des Expositions de Villepinte. « Its an installation that creates a buzz, mentions Amélie Pienontesi, the person in charge of communication for Rockwool. The original idea of the project was to tell the story of the brand in different way in order to engage the audience : visitors were able to climb up on the anamorphosis to take a picture or a selfie, as if on the edge of a cliff. » In this space, usually void of people, one had to wait in quite the long line to get atop of the podium. Echoing the projections of the volcano, the city of tomorrow is reaching for the sky. With all its mineral shapes, improbables reflections, concrete structures, it calls forth a questioning of our future on Earth, asking the onlooker to think about where we are headed as a species… This was the nature of the question posed to several thousands of visitors…
